Ministry of Cannabis will be closed for the Christmas Holidays from monday 22 december till friday 2 january. Friday 19 december will be the last shipping day of 2008, and we will ship all the orders received and paid till 10.00 am GMT + 1 (Amsterdam time). All the orders received or paid after that limit will be shipped monday 5 january 2009.

Ministry of Cannabis at the Spannabis Fair 09

Next february we will be at the Spannabis Fair in Barcelona. This fair, at its 6th edition, is one of the most important cannabis events of the year. The fair’s location will be the Fira de Cornellà, on the hills around the city of Barcelona. You are invited to come and meet our staff, stand 110, the 27 - 28 february and 1 march 2009.

Guy try to pay a Big Mac with Marijuana

A guy in Vero Beach, Florida, have been arrested by the local sheriff. The shariff was called by a McDonald’s cashier, that have just received a weird proposal, to get weed instead of cash for an hamburger. The guy was released and fined 500 dollars. We don’t know if at the end he got his meal or not.

New autoflowering feminized expected soon

Ministry of Cannabis strikes again: we have started the final tests, as pre-release of the feminized version of our Pure Lowryder. The tests are at the moment almost completed. If the results mantain the consistance that we had till now, the release to the public will be within the end of this year. In the meantime,we have completed the tests, and started the production for public release of 3 new feminized strains. These strains will be released to the public in the first half of january. We will keep you updated. In the meantime, we have been added to Canaseed, a comparison search engine for those you wanna buy cannabis seeds. Thanks for the add guys!

Cannabis, the best antibiotic on the planet

Our beloved, our adorable cannabis plant never stops to surprise us. An english italian study, just published, shows that cannabinoids kill even the most resistent staphylococcus. Every year, these staphylococcus kill more than 18.000 people in the hospitals of the whole world and they are resistent to the antibiotics. In particular, the study, started in 2005 and lasted 3 years, has shown how THC, CBD, CBG, CBC and CBN are incredibly efficient against EMERSA-15 and EMERSA-16, two of the most dangerous staphylococcus. This reaearch was a menage a trois between the Cra-Cin of Rovigo,that grew the plants, The University of Piemonte Orientale of Novara and the School of Pharmacy of London. It is extra ordinary that a plant can have so many beneficial uses. Staphylococcus today kill more than AIDS. Now we have an efficient weapon to stop it. Let’s hope that for once, they allow to use it.

Sumo fighters positive to cannabis test

It seems that the giant fighters of this ancient and noble sport discipline have a particular passion for the cannabis plant, just like us. Two fighters, Roho and Hakurozan, nickname of the two russian brothers Soslan e Batraz Boradzov (28 and 26 years old) have been found positive to cannabis. But the police didn’t found any trace of cannabis in their apartments, and the two strongly denied the results of the tests. The japanise law consider a crime eve the possession of a small amount for personal use. Another sumo star was suspended from the federation last week, after that a test shows that he used cannabis. We all hope that these bans are temporary, it is too stupid to break the career of someone just because of a joint. Simply too stupid.

New Strain: Pure Lowryder now available

The Ministry of Cannabis Lab is happy to announce that a new strain, Pure Lowryder, is now available in its regular form. Pure Lowryder is an autoflowering strain, cappable to pass from seedling to bud in about 2 months. The plant stay compact, and she doesn’t need 12 hours of dark per day to flower: the flowering is indeed automatic, when the plant reach an age of about 20 days she starts to flower. Given these features, this plant can be grown virtually everywhere. Pure Lowryder is gonna be sold in bags of 10 seeds, like all the other regular strains. We are gonna offer one bag for 30 euro, instead of 35, for the whole month of august.
